I have joined an online survey group and they have asked me to disable cookies. Is this a bad thing?

I don't want to end up with spam and pop-ups.

It can be yes. But you can always delete cookies. If you dont know the site than i dont think you should. but if you dont know how to enable cookies its under internet options
Reply:Dont disable cookies since most of the websites needs cookies.
Reply:i do about 4 different surveys and none of them ask me to delete my cookies
Reply:actually i think that is a good thing, you see almost most of the website needs you to enable your cookies so they can store some information about you and the website you visited. if you dis able this it means that they cannot store some information about you and their website on your computer. maybe this is also a form of their security.
